Flip Flopped

Mlive.com & Espn are reporting that Pistons head coach Flip Saunders, has been fired from the Head coaching job of the Detroit Pistons. They have yet to name a successor but it appears that assistant coach & former Pistons player Micahel Curry will be named head coach at a press conference later this week.

Now I never had a problem w/ Flip per say. He just didnt get to the finals. In Detroit we expect to get to the finals. He always a bad reputation as a poor playoff coach, we saw that here a lot in Det. weather its not winning the games he had too, or the ability to control his players (Sheed comes to mind, though in defense no coach has really been good w/ Sheed lol) I predict big changes for the lineup this year, the era of the best starting 5 in the league may be over, but we have plenty of young talent waiting in the wings.
